Cookie policy
Sweet Dog only uses strictly necessary cookies — no advertising trackers, no audience measurement, so no consent banner.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device (computer, phone, tablet) by a site you visit. It stores useful information, such as your login state or your language, to make the service work.
Our principle: only the essentials
Sweet Dog only uses cookies strictly necessary for it to work and for your security. We place no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no audience-measurement tools. For that reason, and in accordance with the regulations that exempt strictly necessary cookies from consent, Sweet Dog does not display a cookie-consent banner.
The cookies we use
- sd_anonymous_token: lets you use the service without an account, by linking your conversations to your browser. Lifetime: 1 year.
- jwt_token: keeps your session open securely when you are logged into your account. Lifetime: 15 minutes, renewed automatically.
- refresh_token: renews your session without asking for your password again. Lifetime: 30 days.
- sd_session_only: remembers whether you want to stay signed in or not. Lifetime: your session.
- NEXT_LOCALE: remembers your language (French or English). Lifetime: up to 1 year.
These are all first-party cookies, set by Sweet Dog. The login cookies are secure and inaccessible to browser scripts (HttpOnly).
No third-party cookies, no trackers
No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no sharing of your data with third-party platforms. Web fonts are self-hosted, with no call to an external service.
Retention period
It is indicated for each cookie above. Login cookies expire automatically and session cookies disappear when you close your browser.
Manage or delete cookies
You can, at any time, delete cookies already set or block their placement through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.). Deleting or blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and may prevent some features from working, such as finding your conversations.
