Terms of use

Purpose

These terms of use (the "Terms") govern the use of the Sweet Dog service, available at sweet-dog.app: educational guides, learning paths and a conversational assistant for dog owners.

Acceptance

By using Sweet Dog, you accept these Terms in their version in force. If you do not agree with all or part of these Terms, do not use the service.

Service access

The service is free and available 24/7, subject to technical availability. We may suspend it temporarily (maintenance, updates, technical reasons) without prior notice or compensation. You can use Sweet Dog without creating an account; some features, such as finding your conversations across devices, require one.

Your account

Creating an account is optional and requires an email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out from your account. You can delete your account at any time.

Help, not veterinary advice

The guides and the assistant's answers are informational and educational in nature, in a positive-training mindset. They do not constitute veterinary advice, nor the advice of a dog trainer or a behaviourist, and they do not replace a consultation. In an emergency, or if you have any doubt about your dog's health, an injury, the ingestion of a suspect product, or a sudden change in behaviour, contact a veterinarian without delay. Every dog is different: you use the information provided at your own discretion and under your own responsibility.

Artificial intelligence: its limits

The assistant relies on an artificial-intelligence model. Despite the care taken, its answers may contain inaccuracies or errors. Keep a critical eye, cross-check important information and, when in doubt, seek a professional's advice.

Expected behaviour

You undertake to use the service in good faith and not to:

• disrupt, bypass or misuse the service or its security;
• use it for unlawful or undignified purposes;
• promote animal cruelty or coercive methods;
• massively harvest content for commercial purposes;
• divert the assistant from its purpose, namely helping dog owners.

Intellectual property

The contents of the service (texts, guides, illustrations, visual identity) are the property of Sweet Dog and are protected. Any reproduction without prior written authorisation is prohibited.

Your content

The questions you ask and your dog's profile remain yours. You grant Sweet Dog a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them for the sole purpose of providing and improving the service.

Liability

Sweet Dog is provided "as is", with a commitment to quality, but without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability or freedom from error. We cannot be held liable for a misunderstanding or an unsuitable application of the information to your situation, for a temporary unavailability, or for the consequences of your failure to comply with these Terms.

Minors

The service is intended for an adult audience, or for minors with the consent of their legal guardian. Creating an account requires you to be at least 15 (the age of digital consent in France) or to have a parent's consent.

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. The applicable version is the one published on this page. Significant changes are flagged to you if you have an account.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of difficulty, let us first seek an amicable solution through the contact form. Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to applicable protective rules.
